Luxurious Hair Spa was established in 2015 after a re branding from Mi Amour Salon(established 2013). We take pride in being the first black owned hair salon, in Dubuque, Iowa. Our commitment is providing excellent professional hair care, that is affordable and efficient. That is what keep our clients "loving what we do". Luxurious Hair Spa is a welcoming and comfortable environment for our clients. We offer a variety of hair care services with a specialty in locs (dread locs), braids and hair extensions.
At Luxurious Hair Spa we believe in providing exceptional hair care services. The foundation to Luxurious Hair is knowledge of texture, product and technique. Luxurious Hair Spa was formed out of a community's need for a hairstylist that is knowledgeable in ethnic hair care and styling.
Our Salon is eager to rid the stereotype of "being in the shop all day" by having an appointment serviced first, walk ins accepted policy. We also go over and beyond to provide a professional and welcoming atmosphere for our clients to relax and be pampered or taking care of.

Our lead stylist, Shamika is always in tune with the latest looks in the industry and fashion trends. She has the skills to change your hairstyle and maintain the integrity of the client's hair. "I love enhancing the outer beauty but I love most encouraging our clients to step out of their comfort zone to be and try new things". We aim to enhance the clients outer beauty using techniques learned from some of the hair industry's best stylist. Shamika is always taking and teaching new classes to enhance her talent and make sure she provide You with the best hair care possible.
